yeah wtf!!

this summer sale... steam only got from me Overlords 1 yesterday

the only thing i bought in steam... all the rest of the stuff i bought were in other sites
 
I spent a fair amount, but the sale was very lackluster overall. I really hope this was just an experiment to gather data and that it ultimately failed as far as sales/numbers are concerned. Way too much repeats of sales that could of been used for new stuff.
 
Since tomorrow will probably be a recap, it looks like I finish with 2 games, KOTOR II and Transformers 1, for a whopping $7.50. Easily the least I've spent on a major Steam sale.

Yeah, $37 for that game is a steal, especially since the cable itself is about $30.

Nothing today. I should'a picked up dishonored when it was on sale. All I got for myself this sale was "The Longest Journey + Dreamfall". I bought dishonored and the THQ pack as a christmas gift for someone though.

Maybe Dishonored will be in the recap tomorrow *crosses fingers*.
 
Who knows, they are having a recap for the entire weekend. Though the entire sale has felt like a recap mostly lol

Ah, good thing I forgot about buying it on Amazon! The cable is listed for $39.99 right now, which makes it a good deal to buy the game at $37.99. The only negative thing is that it has a 1-2 week wait right now. Although, I don't actually own a guitar right now, so no problemo!
 
Looking at these sales i'd say the following to anyone:

- Sleeping dogs is great so far I'm really enjoying it

- I bought bioshock previous sale, and it won't play sound!

When you find it on Amazon it shows the $60 price from J&R; just click on the other new options to see the $38 price, fulfilled by Amazon 🙂

If you need a guitar, I'd hop on Craigslist and keep an eye out for garage sales :thumbsup:

yeah i didn't really like this. the whole sale was really over within the first few days. the rest of this xmas sale has mostly just been repeats. while it was cool because i missed awesomenauts the first go round, this sale has been pretty lackluster overall. it's just the same few games on a sale rotation. though at least i have more time to actually think if adding a game to my already insane library is actually worth it.

Golden Rule doesn't apply to publisher packs, they won't get discounted any further so you might as well grab them now.

You'll be fine to buy it now. Publisher packs almost never go on sale (only 1 or 2 cases they have) and with the weekend being encore days it wont show up.
Good though that you followed the rule though. All to often I've seen people ignore it and then go oh man I bought this the other day for $5+ more
