I would pick a team but I am not even sure I know all the team names.

Yes, I understand I could just google it, but that ain't sporting.

I could see a Pats vs GB superbowl.

I think the Pats offense will much better than last year with a ton of additions for Brady to throw at, and the defense will play much better than the showing vs the rams where they played with a completely different scheme than they had the previous two games vs the Saints and the Falcons.

Ravens have a solid defense, their offense still doesn't have my trust. The Chargers are having personnel issues. The Jets have a poor QB and got rid of their best RB, they also just lost their best LB and their best CB isn't going to play.

We'll see!

You forgot the Colts. I don't think the Patriots have the defense to stop the Colts. Plus, the Ravens thoroughly embarrassed the Patriots last year and if anything, I think the Ravens will be better this year.

Colts will be good, I thought I read about injuries for them though, perhaps I wasn't paying enough attention. I think the Pats will get the better of the Colts this time around, at home for the first time in awhile.

Yeah, the Colts should probably give them a win out of the goodness of their hearts. The Colts have won like 6 of the last 7 against them or something like that, and SHOULD have won the game they lost but they choked.

Sadly the Patriots defense is their Achilles heel. If they can shore it up somehow and play well enough to win they have a shot at making it. NFC, unless they lost a lot of players (I haven't paid too much attention this off season) the Saints might make it back.

The key for the Saints will be home field advantage. I didn't care one way or another who won the NFC last year, but I can see that there was some good home cookin' going on in the game last year and the Vikings got robbed on a couple of pivotal plays. If the Saints don't secure home field advantage and have to go to Minnesota or (gasp) Green Bay, you can stick a fork in them.

Yeah, if Farve's ankle can hold up and they can protect him (with the help of a healthy running game) the Vikings could take the NFC

I think the AFC is too loaded for the Steelers to be in the AFC champ. game. Honestly, if Ben misses 6 games I think they'll be lucky to make the playoffs.

You're probably right. He need to probably miss more games to give them a better chance at making the playoffs. 😛 Although I heard it won't be 6, but only 4 games he'll be missing.

Patriots beat the Ravens in the regular season of that same year. Losing welker hurt a lot. Welker is the most important piece of the offense after brady (even more important than moss).

Also, it looks like the Patriots finally gave Brady 2 elite tight ends through the draft. That'll upgrade the running game and it'll be a passing threat in 2 tight end sets as well.

All I can think of when I think of Flacco is 4-12. I think that it what he went for in his last playoff game 😛 - His other games not too much better. He can only be improving though.

The Colts win 12 games every year so they'll be in the mix as usaul. I like seeing new teams coming up though, not Colts/Pats/Steelers every year. But they are all great football franchises. At least it's not like the NBA where a maxim of 5 teams have any realistic hope at winning the championship.

PS. Is it just me or is pre-season football good this year? Maybe I just missed football so much it seems better than it is. It really seems like they're playing at full speed though for the most part, big hits left and right.

49ers v. Dolphins

Though that'd mean Alex Smith starts again next year.. :hmm:

And yes, I'm biased in picking the 49ers.

Realistically, I think it'd be Packers v. Colts.
