Yeah, if Farve's ankle can hold up and they can protect him (with the help of a healthy running game) the Vikings could take the NFC

I don't know. I'm sort of pessimistic as a Vikings fan. Favre had a career year last year. I don't think he'll be able to match it. The Vikings' WR corps is having problems with Rice out half the season, Harvin battling migraines, and Berrian just not performing up to snuff (although that last one isn't a new thing). The O-line isn't what is used to be and with Chester Taylor gone, neither is the running game.

On the plus side, Antoine Winfield is looking really good this year so if he can stay healthy he'll be a major help on the defensive side. We still have Jared Allen and Ray Edwards on either end to put a lot of pressure on the QB.

I think they'll go 10-6 and lose either in the wild card round or in the divisional round. After that Favre will retire for good and the rebuilding will have to start. Good thing is Jackson has been training under Favre for the past year so he should be much improved, and Joe Webb looks really good too (maybe in a few years).

I think you're putting too much credit with the WRs themselves. If there is one thing Favre has done his ENTIRE CAREER is make mediocre, or slightly above average WRs into superstars.

I'm not saying he can do it again... but he has done it many many times before.

The NFC is up to two men. Rodgers and Favre. If either go down even for a few weeks, their team is doomed.

To me if Farve were smart and wanted to ensure he can walk without a limp for the rest of his life he would just move on to be a QB coach. He could still make a good paycheck and be "in" the game.

True. Sidney Rice was by all accounts an average receiver until last year. I guess we'll just have to see.

i am going to laugh at all these patriot predictions when they will not make the playoffs at all this year. mark my words!!!

OP is a witch!
Prediciting the future!
BURN HIM!!!!

(the coolest thing about the OP is the subtle, and "oh I almost forgot..." inclusion of the Chiefs/Raiders predicition at the end. And its spot on.)

Steelers Vs Packers has to be the favorite right now.

Jets? LOL
NE? Shame they traded Moss.
Any team from the AFC/NFC West? You got to be kidding me.

Ravens could give the Steelers a run for their money and the Colts are always in the running but I doubt the Titians can pull it off.

There are a lot of picks in the NFC
G men
Philly
NO onces their running game returns.

I think The Vikings will have a rough year, I don't see Favre having anywhere near as good of a season as he did last year. Plus they have WR issues.

The Chiefs and the Raiders will actually have impressive seasons for the first time in a long while.

I'm still holding out hope for the Bengals...

Lawl, that is hilarious. I could say the same about my Broncos but look at our division. KC Chiefs? Please. SD is terrible, and so is Oakland

Bungals got a tough division, they aren't going anywhere - guarenteed.

Even halfway through I still don't know if I can make a reasonable prediciton.

If I had to....Giants vs. Steelers with Steelers walking home with the trophey.

thank you thank you

Being right makes me happy 🙂 - But, we'll have to see how the rest of the season plays out. The Superbowl pick of NE and GB could hold up I suppose, but GB has had devastating injuries and NE's defense is horrible. NE's bad defense could have been foreseen, but I thought their offense would be putting up bigger numbers.
