Yeah I think Heat are done. Wade is playing w/ a broken back, poor guy. Nuggets are gonna finish off Hornets tonight at home!

It was real classy how Atlanta fans booed him when he got hurt.

Nuggets are looking good. 'Melo's 1st couple of steps are amazing - reminds me of James Worthy.

Denver is going to steamroll Dallas. However, it is going to be fun watching Cuban blow a gasket any time JR Smith touches one of the Mavs.

Wow, some serious D. Wade hatin' from the Hawks' radio announcer:

http://larrybrownsports.com/ba...erserk-miami-heat/7012

Yet another example why Atlanta is one of the worst sports cities in the USA. Bad (and often disinterested) fans and bad announcers.

The flagrant foul on D. Wade last night was BS. He was clearly going for the ball - and almost got it.

I do realize that during the Heat's title run a few years ago, Wade clearly got preferential treatment from the refs - even more than Jordan did or Shaq - but when announcers make it a personal vendetta, that's just totally uncalled for.

I watched the Tuesday Bullsgame.. psshh.. (looks around).. its rigged!! Man so many no calls.. The sport announcers also seemed to be toeing the "party line"/"company line"... Why does it seem that when I watch an NBA game, it seems so "fake" compared to the College games.. Oh, well, just ranting.. no need to reply.

Boston ran the same play three times (Pierce iso up top) and Salmons couldn't do jack.
I would at least try putting Tyrus Thomas on Pierce and see how that goes.
Hinrich is underrated as a defender but he's not good at guarding speedy guys like Rondo.

Rose needs to take it up another notch and start taking the rock to the rim. Rondo can't guard him at all.

Pierce made 2 spinning, turn-around, fall-away jumpers. That was luck, not bad D.

Does it not make it true? D Wade gets probably the most ridiculous preferential treatment from the Ref's out of ANY ball player in the NBA. He won the 2006 PURELY because of how much preferential treatment he gets from the refs. The 2006 NBA finals will always stick in my head as one of the biggest mockeries of the NBA in recent history. He was practically given the title.

Is there a way to find out how many of D Wades points are from free throws? I bet he would be very close to the top, if not the very top. He is like an easier to watch version of Manu Ginobili.

His flagrant foul from behind wasn't too bad. But if you were watching the game at that point it was starting to get out of hand. Emotions were high and players were ready to brawl. Then Wade comes along and tries to make a great play yet instead almost seriously injures another player. Good thing he fell down on Wade, otherwise he could have really gotten hurt. This is why I think the ref's called it a flagrant. To keep control of the game.

It's not luck. Once Da Troof gets going, he's as unguardable as Kobe/LeBron get. It's not often he gets like that but he does get into the zone every so often.

He trashed more than Wade but the heat team for 'resorting to thuggery' and so on. He sounded like Limbaugh or Hannity calling the game. Announcers are a 'face of the organization', hired by the organization, and they should have more professionalism and integrity, and maybe the fans would have a little more integrity than boo an injured player. Regardless of wade getting preferential treatment, these guys are an embarrassment to the hawks and the nba.

Just wanted to share this with you guys. You can see the best moments in the NBA. They're 30sec clips. I've been watching it for the past half hour. It's addicting as hell. Going from the 40's all the way to recent games. It's on NBA.com

That is true. I still think its time someone stood up to the blatantly obvious preferential treatment a player like Dwayne Wade gets. It really annoys the crap out of me, and the fact that nobody talks about it annoys me even more.

All Superstar players get the same treatment. Especially in the Post-Season.

Did you watch the 2006 NBA finals? Dirk Nowitzski got screwed while Dwayne wade was determined the winner before the finals even started. It made a complete mockery of the NBA as a whole. Even more so than Donaghy getting caught gambling.

As I stated in my earlier post, Wade received the most preferential treatment I've ever seen, against Dallas in the finals. It's not been as bad since then, probably partially because he missed so much time the next couple of seasons.

To mock a player on-air is definitely not professional, and especially when a potentially scary injury was involved. I just bet that the NBA will have something to say to that radio station.

I wonder if the flagrant foul called on Wade would have been called, had there not been the Rondo and Howard incidents?

As far as free throws... Wade's #'s are similar to LeBron's, Kobe's when he drove more to the hoop, Paul Pierce in years past. IMO, nothing suspicious for a star player who benefits from "star treatment".

Right, because Duke and UNC never get calls... :disgust:

That's awesome!

I'll have to go thru the whole thing tonight, while the Bulls extend the series to a 7th game.

I wonder what happened to the Nba's plan to make available historical games over the internet. They sold individual current games a couple years ago wrapped in drm, and announced plans to digitize and sell individual games from their library soon...and I never heard anything about it again.

While being a huge dick move, that was a pretty funny example of homerism.

?You can?t foul me when I go to the basket, I?m Dwyane Wade. I do commercials.?

Rondo's lucky he wasn't tossed. So is Hinrich, for that matter, considering he hit Rondo under the chin when he retaliated.

BS foul calls on Gordon - that was a pretty weak ward-off - Perkins, and Noah.

Christ almighty.

Rondo got a Flagrant 1.

How about the Bulls player (I didn't catch his jersey #) who "wound up" and hit Pierce across the side of the face, and also the neck? That easily fits the criteria for a Flagrant.
