BS. IF LBJ is not the MVP for his team and of the league, then they shouldn't even bother doing the stupid award. He even got Brown coach of the year FFS.

KT

I'd say the hero of the Bulls win wasn't Gordon, but the Nba's instant replay and the refs who un-ejected Brad Miller after seeing the replays. I could understand why he got ejected, it looked like a headbut or a headslap with Baby's quick acting, but that decision changed the game. With Miller in the game (25 minutes/6 fouls), the Bulls outscored the Celts by a huge 21 points!

Two huge plays by Salmons too, a 3-pt'r in OT (when he shot like CRAP all night), and the final block. Paxson is awesome for picking these two up.

As for the Celtics, they may win the series but have absolutely NO bench aside from a streaky House. I think at this point the only that could stop the Cavs short of the finals would be the swine flu.

Seriously, and I'm a raps fan.

Think about this for a second: on the team with the best record in the league a guy led the team in points, rebounds, assists, blocks, steals, and FTs.

How freaking ridiculous is that?

James will get it this year. But it will be about as meaningless as Kobe's last year when all is said and done.

By that logic when is it ever not meaningless?😕

Lebron will win without question (and deserves to 100%).

He plays at such a high level and does everything on the court, and has led an OK team (talent/depth/coaching -wise) to the best record. He makes his teamates better by his play, but his leadership and personality also create an atmosphere for the team chemistry to thrive. Given the level he plays at, and the level his team is playing at, I can't think of a more deserving scenario for MVP in the nba.

When your team wins the "big prize" at the end.

You are the first person other than myself to say that Gordon did not win us that game. thank god, i thought I was alone.

I am pleading with all of Chicago to not hype this idiot up to the point Deng was 2 years ago and end up handing him $60 million, screwing our franchise for another 6 years.

The Bulls are winning because the Celtics are so messed up, SCALABRINI is getting big minutes. Scalabrini, who can barely play healthy, has brain aneurysms and is still in there.

While Gordon didn't single handidly win the game (Salmons clutch FT's at the end were just as important, if not more so) he made two insane shots to keep them alive. That circus act bank shot over three defenders was just nuts. And then the three pointer with Pierce smothering him was just as amazing.

Boston failing to execute in one or two plays ultimately cost them the game.

But Gordon certainly didn't give Boston many favors...other than not being able to play defense on either Ray or Paul....😱

Having not watched the NBA in more than 10 years, I can confidently say it will be the Bulls over Utah in 4 blowout games. (Though Stockton/Malone will keep game 3 close for 3 quarters)

Looks like a lot of NO fans will be well rested for work tomorrow... since none of them hardly stayed for the 4th 😀

Yep, he's an enigma because of his defensive liabilities. If Rose could learn to be the go-to guy when all else fails, then it won't be so difficult to be without him. I'd love to see him stay tho, he's literally unguardable when he's hot, often in the 4th quarter too, and there are few players like that.
