This would make an interesting WRX STI/ EVO competitor with 300 HP and probable All wheel Drive.

True, but I doubt it would handle anything like the STi/evo/neon srt4.

I'm betting this car will sell fairly well.

There is little reason for it to not handle as well, unless it is too heavy, but it should be fairly light. Hopefully it is priced at the same level as the old SRT-4, that would make it about the best car for your money in price/performance
Looks fairly high off the ground and probably won't have a spectacular balance to it since it's more of an SUV than a little sporty car. I'd like to see the pricing range for this vehicle. I'm thinking it has to be over the price of a neon srt-4.

Hideous. Looks like a Durango molested a Pontiac Vibe.

honda learned their lesson with the pos looking wagon only civic si. I guess GM has still some ways to go.

I'll tell yuo when i want to get a turbo 4 cylinder "performance" minivan/wagon/crossover suv.

😕

the civic si wagon only mode sold nothing like the previous versions. That's why the new 2006 civic si is coupe only. GM will find out too we arent all stupid enough to fall for my parents wagon with a turbo.

I doubt it'll have 300hp. More likely is something like ~260hp.

Not only that, it will weigh about 3300 or 3400 lbs.

Really? I'd figure it to be a lot less since it's replacing the Neon. It's fairly small.

awd adds a lot to weight. then ther is the whole hatchback/wagon thing which adds weight exactly where you want it not be be, up top, making the center of gravity much higher as well as adding unnecessary weight.

This car isn't produced by GM.

Looks like from another link in this thread that the R/T model will have optional AWD. I don't see why the SRT wouldn't have it standard or at least as an option.

Interesting little vehical. Not the most asthetically pleasing, but intriguing no less.

I don't know what it is with all you wagon haters, the wagons of today are NOTHING like the land barge woodies you rode around in as a kid.

Wagons/hatches are far more practical than coupes or sedans, and they are no bigger or heavier than their coupe/sedan counterparts.

Whether you like the look or not you cannot deny their usefulness.

Viper GTS

not with that fugly styling!
It's shaped like an SUV and looks like it has the ride height of a SUV. Maybe it's competing against Forester XT?

Yeah personally I think the thing is going in the wrong direction... The SRT-4 was a hit because it was cheap, had power, and somewhat resembled a sports car. If that thing is as tall as it looks, it's going to tank. Or atleast, I wouldn't buy one.

the curves are nice but I don't know if that's supposed to be a truck or car. Doesn't really bother me either way.
