2005 Mustang.

Those foglights are ugly as hell. If I got a GT, the first thing I'd do is trade the grille with a V6 owner.
I think overall it has a great look, and will be a huge hit for Ford.
 
I think it looks cool, but I thought the old version looked cool when it first came out too. I started to hate the old mustang once every other person on the road had one. Around where I live mustangs are about as popular as a honda civc. The cool look of the car just got real old real fast.
 
F-bodys will always kick Mustangs asses.

And the new corvette is gorgeous. It outperforms the mustang on every level, as well. The new LS2 can pump out 500 rwhp with minor tweaks and a few beef-ups.

except one minor thing you forgot. The GT is about 10-15k+ less expensive then the Base C6. Buy a Mustang GT, and then put the money you saved from buying a vette into the motor/suspension, and then baby jesus will cry.

Yes, I am a Die Hard Chevy fan.
 
I gotta say, it's not a perfect design, but to me it's clearly the most attractive American pony car since the early 1970's. It's a great mix of retro and modern design, and has an appropriately no-BS chunkiness to it. I really really like it for what it is. When they make an IRS-equipped Cobra version (presumably with 400+ bhp), it will be hard to beat as an old-fashioned rubber-burning muscle car.

As long as they're making it a retro-mobile, I'd like to see that huge Mustang emblem on the back serve as a gas cap.
 
I dont understand why anyone would get a V6 mustang. It has the sports car bark without the bite. I had thought about getting a GT mustang (I am about to buy now) but I settled on a Grand Prix GTP since it has the potential for a lot more power w/o a ton of work, but that is off topic.

THere is no question that the new 'Stang looks good.

The GT is more like 30k less expensive than the base C6. GT will be 20-25k and C6 will be 55k.

Anyways, back to your mullet mobile... er, Camaro, f-body boy.
