Personally I think you have better evidence that teenagers shouldn't get married to anyone, whether that be other teenagers or 30 year old adults. I got married at 19 to another 19 year old. We lasted about 5 years. Now I'm a 30 year old married to a 27 year old.

For the record, I doubt if I could stand to spend serious time with a 20 year old kid anymore. There is a serious generation gap between the 18 to 20 year old kids and the 28-30 year old adults. It would be more like a novelty than a relationship.

Age doesn't matter if you have something in common. My dad was born in 47, mom in 56. (9 year age difference) Hell I went out with a 29 year old woman whom I met at my sister's wedding - it was perfectly normal - I didn't see her as a 29 year old and she really didn't see me as a 20 year old. (Turns out she had just got out of a mental institution though :| )

duh, simple, you have the 30 year old to buy you things, and you know where they are all day, at work. then you date the 17 year old at the same time, you know where she is all day, she gets out of school, you spend the afternoon with her. she has to go home for dinner and because her mom thinks she's at jenny's. then you go pick up the 30 year old from work and she pays for a nice dinner then you go have some lovin' and then shes out at 10pm cuz she has to go to work.

The vast majority of people men and women do not mature till around 25, and even then alot never mature. Women like to say they mature faster than men, thats just not true. Money and maturity are some of it, but think about this:

Men between 15 and 20 are at their sexual peak, with hardly the experience to control their raging hormones. Women don't reach a state anywhere near this until their late 30s early 40s. By 30, men have calmed down sexually, and have developed the maturity to not be such blatant horndogs anymore.

Ideally, when it comes to sexual tastes, 20 something women should be with 30-40 something men, and 30-40 something women should be with 20 something men.

I'm an anomoly, though. I'm a 30 something man that's still a horndog and I love older women

This is so sad.... The best reason you can come up with for why a younger person is with an older person is money. I've seen 40+ people who have the maturity of a teenager. "WHAT IF" this lady just happens to like "who" this gentleman is. No strings. I know, i know.. thats impossible in this day and time. Cause I saw it on Springer.

I'm 29 and my fiance' is 37. I am a professional and so is she. We both love who the other person is. My exwife on the other hand (who was 2 years younger then me) stopped maturing. She just froze in her station in life. The same is said for my fiance's ex. He is 43 and makes the decisions i would expect from a 16 year old. So we found each other and happen to be at the same point in our lives where we are compatable.

I wish them the best of luck and happy that there are some people who are not afraid to be with someone for all the right reasons for a change.
