Perhaps. I think most 14 year olds should be doing their homework, I don't see the point of dating at that age. Kids that young are so emotionally immature I think dating can be a really unhealthy thing. But that's just my worthless opinion. 😉

No not at all. When you start to grow up, your view of the world changes. Just go browsing on myspace and you'll see how immature kids are these days. They need to form an identity of their own before they start latching on to someone else.

Not to me, and that's important. It helps to not be self-deprecating, I think.

Anyway, the remedy for immature and rash kids is not parents who give kids a long list of restrictions, it's parents who sit down and take the time to know their children and explain to them (through communication and example) how to lead a righteous life. It doesn't work to just send your kid to Sunday school or chastise him every once in a while when he does something bad at school, you need to form a long lasting and significant relationship of mutual respect. That's the only way to go, but most parents feel like they're too busy and have much more important things to do than raise their children. It's a pity, because while the parents blame everything but themselves (including kids own natural and healthy sexuality) the kids become rotten to the core.
