My AMC guy hasn't come yet, different hardware will be tried only then.

What you have been saying of formatting and intalling only drivers and games has been done several times, to no avail.

I don't know hot change HDD from PIO to DMA or to check the HDD for DMA? I don't know how to disable NCQ. Please tell me. Also tell me how to use memtest86 using NERO EXPRESS 6/7.

umm.. as always, you missed out on the important part.. TAKE OUT ALL HARDWARE , CLEAR BIOS, etc etc. oh well..

My X1900XTX has run great since day one. You have to be trolling b/c no one could be this useless. You get told step by step what to do and you ignore it and do something else.

Do yourself a favor, sell your computer and pick-up a new hobby.

comp properties/Hardware/device manager/ ide atapi channels then find the one with ur hd/cd drive.
Or just fry your video card and rma it 😛

No kidding. Somehow he installed the motherboard, hard drives, video card, and sound card but does not have the correct tool to remove them🙂 Definetly good joke you got going there.

it doesn't take a week to install and test a video card.
 
I didn't assemble the PC nor do I have the right equipment to dismantle it, please wait patiently till he comes withhis screw driver, motherboard and CPU.

Equipment should equal a single #2 tip (most common) phillips head screwdriver. $2.00 or less should nab you one. Even in India, land of the screwdriver shortage.
 
Price is not the problem, my mother couldn't find one in a nearby shop, she will hopefully try again. I want a magnetic screw driver like my AMC fellow, he will be coming soon else I might do it myself if I get the screw driver.

Oh now this changes everything. You want magnetic? That is a tough find. You might have to bump up the price to $2.15.

Akshayt, is it at all possible you can just come clean with us and say it was all a joke? That would be very refreshing. Because as I am sure you know by now, we are all on to your game here, and even in spite of that, gave the benefit of the doubt to you and continued to try and help. So please, it can't be anything else but a game. Not a chance in heaven or hell, even for the most novice computer users, can it have gone this far without a resolution. You're just stalling and drawing this out as far as you can to get the most enjoyment possible out of it.

At this point, I would like to ask a mod if this thread can be locked, or even better, deleted.
