Oppossums sometimes take up living inside a carcass. They'll eat away at the anus until they have a hole big enough to crawl into and just crash there for a while. If someone were pumped full of antibiotics so the infection didn't get them right away, and had their limbs disabled so they couldn't fight them off, the little guy might not wait for them to actually die first.

Yeah, thanks. The movie rather reminded me of the emotional side of childhood growing up. It was kind of therapudic to watch, actually.

That's one of the best ideas I've heard. If they did that for some criminals maybe I wouldn't whine so much about my taxes being wasted. Kudos on the idea

almost the exact thing happened here except the kids were a bit younger.

the adopted parents (their biological aunt and uncle!) first only got probation (!!!!) and then after an appeal got 8 MONTHS IN PRISON. people get worse fines for abusing animals.
