The challenge ends in 1d 17.5h, to be excessively precise.
Between that and the start of the dayjob, I'll hopefully manage to switch the GPUs from PG to F@H. I'll look into feasible CPU slot configs at some later point.

Well, they say never to let 'em see you sweat. But that is getting hard for your old captain to maintain.

OK, I just got my electric bill. $752 !
Incidentally, this is almost exactly the same amount which I am paying now monthly. Mine is a few € more. (I am getting a yearly bill and pay monthly rates which are based on the yearly bill. kWh price is € 0.29, and will be € 0.32 from January on, due to the global rise of energy prices.)

Here is a little story which I told before: Ever since I moved to my current home, I always get a phone call from the electric provider a day or two after they sent the yearly bill. They ask me if everything is alright with my bill. I respond tersely in the affirmative. — Well, maybe I should ask for an industrial tariff instead.

Hi Moonshot Gang,
I am sorry to report that my most powerful folder just quit on me. It is a mother board issue and I will try to swap in an other mother board during the week end - if time allows. I assume I will produce approx 1.6 - 1,8 M ppd. :-(

Ugh, sorry to hear that. Just do what you can.

The Primegrid challenge is over in 6 hours(I've already been slowly transitioning stuff over as Primegrid tasks complete) .

The current limit of threads/slot for the A8 core is 64:
(edit: On Linux, that is. I don't know about Windows.)
Code:
0xa8:Calling: mdrun -c frame74.gro -s frame74.tpr -x frame74.xtc -cpt 15 -nt 88 -ntmpi 1
0xa8:Steps: first=37000000 total=37500000
0xa8:ERROR:88 OpenMP threads were requested. Since the non-bonded force buffer reduction is prohibitively slow with more than 64 threads, we do not allow this. Use 64 or less OpenMP threads.
Furthermore, the variation in base credit and PPD for GRO_A8 workunits seems to be much higher than for OPENMM_22 (GPU) workunits.

Yeah, I've seen up to 970,000, down to 300,000, and right now 550,000 (PPD), over the past few days since I've added the 64 wide CPU slot to the race.
