Thanks for these stats! ----- At less than half of the month, total team points already exceed the December 2019 total team points. OK, that's just natural progress.

Total team points so far have not yet reached at least half of the December 2020 total team points. But the TeAm did not spend as much computer time in the 12/2020 PrimeGrid challenge, unlike this year. As we shall speed up quite a bit by the end of the week, we should be able to catch up.

The kitchen sink does not appear to have as much horsepower as I thought it did. Hmmmmm
I have a couple more idle cards, but A 1070TI and a 1060 are not worth turning on... I have one more 2060 and thats about it.

Edit: Oh, and a 2060 super !

Your 1070ti is a lot better than the RX 560 I’m trying to get running again. It processed about half a WU and now F@H keeps crashing. Might have to give up on the kitchen sink

Keep trying! I have older junk than that I think are hopefully grinding out some points 🤣, I hope... Hopefully will finish before the new year! And cpus even slower...

I've tried and doing the maths by hand is not really feasible cause of humanism... ;)

The teams are now fixed. :)
Ah, the teams are fixed, great :) Didn't have much time yesterday, but now just added a 64 wide CPU slot to the race :) The first WU gives a PPD estimate of almost 970,000. That would propel me to almost 2.4 million PPD. So, also not much more than a cheering gerbil :D

Love your new profile avatar :)

Maybe we should all use it, at least during the race ;) What do you think?
Thanks! I guess you can if you want. All the parts are Free (as in speech) from Wikimedia, though the flag is Apache-licensed. It might get confusing, though.

Thanks for today's stats, @biodoc :)

Looks like both teams are now pretty balanced in daily production. If the Moonshot Gang can keep that up, then they are well prepared for their counterattack once the PrimeGrid challenge is over... Exciting race!

Yeah, that's a good point, confusing. I thought of it like a team jersey ;)

Mark cracks me up - 1070 and a 1060 not worth turning on.

Just for this race, I pulled out my old rig,
Ryzen 1700 + AMD 7950 - I have that box running right next to the dogs bed to keep her warm at night.
My work machine is normally a 5700G alone - but I plopped my old RX 460 in it for after hours.
My main machine is my 5600x + 5700XT which is doing all the work - I only game on it for ~ 1 hour a night.

I do wish the CPU cores counted for more - they are far easier and cheaper to attain then the current GPU situation.

Except that I have 14 cards 1080TI class or better already running, and almost 1100 cores CPU running. The electric bill this month should be over $700.

THATS why I say not worth turning on.

My internet link was down for 5 h today in my absence. :-(
You really do have a glorious ISP. I guess there is nothing else available, as you're still bearing this, somehow. That must really be annoying. Maybe you could set up an additional WAN via cellphone with a cheap SIM card, and then put this as a tier 2 gateway in a failover configuration for your DC hosts so that at least these could stay online until the primary WAN comes back online.

If you need someone else to power it on, I’ve got plenty of power here, and much older hardware using it :D. The kitchen sink in a A10-7970k with RX560. The bathroom sink isn’t turned on, and is A10-5800k with a RX 250X
