16 year old girl gets spanked, mom is mad. Justice served?

She copied someone elses homework and was given two days off. She served a day but came back the next and begged for a paddling to return to classes. Her request was granted and now mom is mad!

Everything was legit so why is there controversy? I believe in corporal punishment and support the school that tanned her hide! She will never copy again, thats 'fer' sure!

I got paddled a few times in school and I was not traumatized. And back the. Parents were fine with it.

It definitely had a positive effect for behavior. Back then you got sent to the principals office and sat in the paddle row with the rest of the other students awaiting the paddle, one time I saw my brother sitting 4 seats ahead of me and as you waited you heard the other students name called up into the office, door shut and the sound of the paddle and all you can do is quietly wait your turn. No one peeped a sound.

A few visits and you pretty much straitened out.

yep, back in the 70s paddling was ok. our teacher used to take 20 rulers and rubber band them together. used to scare the heck out of us. then i found out that getting spanked on the hand hard with 1 ruler vs. 20 rulers felt exactly the same. got over that fear quick, heh.
