The wonders of tall buildings.
I bet how likely a building is to collapse is strongly inversely correlated to its height.

This is going to be because tall buildings are expensive and so people are motivated to ensure they are constructed correctly, but still kind of amusing that reality is likely the exact opposite point that you're trying to make.

Do they have resources to do anything more?
I doubt it. It's a Republican state and they believe that resources are best left to such tenants so they can take care of themselves. The proper role of the state is not to exist as you never know when it could fall into the hands of do-gooder liberal dreamers who hate God and are Socialists, read Devil-Worshipers.

So true:

Thank god nuclear reactors are safe.

While any home can experience foundation problems and these problems are relatively uncommon, thanks in part to modern engineering, the bigger and taller a building is that has foundation problems, the more untoward the consequences.

If you build in the country in the West, these days your solitude can come at the expense of a forest fire.

It'd be mighty suspicious if the owner of a multi-million dollar apartment complex was living hand-to-mouth.
In a competitive society it's every man for himself. The only people who help others in need do so at the expense of common sense because, some how. they have managed to hold onto their innate human dignity.

That would mean human competition is inherently zero sum, which history has conclusively proven false. Ironically for your world view the things that allow you to live a life of luxury unimaginable for most of human history is in large part due to this competition.

I guess the subsistence farmers of the past would be comforted to know that at least they had their dignity as they died of preventable diseases at 30 after watching half their kids and then their wife die in childbirth.

'Man it's so great that modern engineering prevents buildings from collapsing'

'The process that brought that modern engineering about is an affront to human dignity.'

Everything you know about the world, all our opinions about the nature of human reality are based on your observations of a world that is upside down, backward and deeply mentally ill.

Talking to you is like talking to a Republican. It's all ego attachment to world view. Who are you going to compete with were you to lose your sense of separateness and discover that you and the world are one and the same thing.

So you do not perceive the world as an I separate from what you observe?

Who needs projection when you have direct experience of different conscious states.....

Beach head established. More buildings in the immediate vicinity mysteriously collapse followed by more buys from anonymous Dubai investment interests......the plot thickens.

How do you keep track of all the plots you post?!

Spreadsheets or string lines over newspaper articles tacked up on the wall?
