My November surprise, a great deal on a 980ti, looks like it's pumping out 740K 640K ppd as of now. Turns out I was a bit overly optimistic about the OC, and had a really good WU right at first. The new figure is much more realistic.

I set my GPU fans to manual and run them from 50-70% to get the temps down to low 70s.

Top card fan is running 73%, even at 95% it just throttles the gpu back up to 1350mhz and holds 80. Biggest issue right now is still no winter yet. Temp today is 75F, so I still have the AC running.

Hey guys! Hope everybody's ready for the races to start! @petrusbroder thank you for taking the reins on the AT side and doing the stats tracking. I'll arrange for somebody on Tom's to do the same, and I'll serve as the third neutral record keeper. Between all that, we should be pretty accurate in the count.

You all have really ramped it up in the past week though, so it's looking like this might not be much of a contest at all against either of your competitors 😛

signed up for the contest. I normally fold for xtremesystems, but it's kinda died lately. not sure if ill stick around after the contest or not, but for now.....you get my points 🙂 ill be folding with a gtx-970 which will probably get me around 250-300kppd/day give or take. good luck vs tom's! I hope my support contributes to a victory 🙂

question: is there a way to add a signature that shows how many points we've earned for the team? (my apologies if there is already a thread, just started browsing through these forums today)

Good question, and Welcome/Thanks for team jumping for a little while! 🙂 I am not sure if this is what you are looking for (don't have time to read it all right now): http://folding.extremeoverclocking.com/?nav=IMAGES

bds71, is this your folding name as well?

Zoogoober: Thanks for the prompt reply regarding your folding name. petrusbroder will get your names added to the list in post #3 soon.

@TennesseeTony: yes, this is my folding name as well (bds71). and yes, that was what I was looking for (I use it on that website,) but I think it is specifically for that team# - not sure if it would work for a different team. I would try it out to see, but I can't seem to find where to even put in a signature 🙂 (help?)

Thanks Tony, it worked !!!

edit: it worked in the preview, but not here, arg....

here is what I put

But it works in the post...just not the sig, And the total user points are too big for the form lol
