gillis probably went right by me on the marathon circuit once it caught back up to the half circuit today.
only 1 person had been below 2:10 on that course ever prior to today, and about 6 guys did it today. perfect weather, started in the low 40s and got up to the mid 50s.
on a sad note one of my marathoner friends said he saw a guy's ticker go at about mile 21 and the EMTs pounding on his chest to get him revived, but no go.![]()
Wow, sounds like it was absolutely ideal conditions. Lots of people must have set PRs.
