10 miles on Tuesday, with 4x 200-200-400 on the track. Forgot how "fun" track workouts are!
6 miles Wednesday morning
10 miles today, starting at 8:00 pace and working down to about 6:00 pace

25 miles this week. 10 miles this morning at a trail race north of Durham. It a funny thing...when trail runners say gently rolling hills, they actually mean near vertical climbs, endless switchbacks, hidden rocks and roots, slippery pine straw, more twists and turns than a dog's hind leg. Took a good spill also, but no blood, so it didn't count. I'm staying on asphalt for a while...

8 miles today. Did some core work and body weight exercises yesterday and thought for sure I'd be sore, but for some reason I wasn't... Must have to work harder I guess!

Ran the hilly 9 mile road loop this morning. Holy crap was it cold and windy (5 degrees considering the windchill). I've been home for 30 minutes now and my face and hands are still numb. But I did feel good today - my knees and feet are handling the downhills better these days.

Scorch - I've upped my core and strength work volume over the last week by 25% and I never got sore. Maybe we need some new exercises?
