Yes, its our fault. /s

Liberals have so much self hate and guilt.

The poll you linked agrees with me?
The questions are based on a favorable or unfavorable opinion of the US

Overall, residents of the Muslim
countries studied tended to mistrust
the intentions of the United States
toward their region -- but the radical
group was somewhat more likely to
do so than the moderate masses. The
radicals were more likely to feel that
the U.S. invasion of Iraq did more
harm than good, less likely to agree
that the United States was serious
about supporting democracy in the
region, and less likely to trust that
the United States will allow people
in the region to fashion their own political futures.

There's a lot of American posters here feel the same way as these radicals do

Its liberal ignorance that blinds you to that reality.

Man... talk about people feeling superior
Most Muslims say they admire least is "narrow-minded fanaticism"

I really hope you live in one of those backwards shithole nations, because attitudes like yours do not belong in freedom supporting countries. You are a piece of shit, and no, you do NOT support freedom of press, and expression, no sir you do not.

So, it took you like 15 pages to bash me?

I live in the mighty USA... FYI... And I'm free to have my opinion. This country was founded on freedom. Even free to have thoughts different than yours. I'm free to continue staying here... I do not belong here? You are the one telling me I do not belong here for having a certain "attitude". Oh how tolerant of you, and a hypocrite to boot. Then you tell me I do not support freedom of expression? Seems like rather the reverse.

nytimes whitewashing the news to be more mulism friendly

http://dailycaller.com/2015/01/08/n...-during-charlie-hebdo-attack-then-deletes-it/

initial story:
"Instead, she told French news media, the man said, “I’m not going to kill you because you’re a woman, we don’t kill women, but you must convert to Islam, read the Quran and cover yourself,” she recalled"

Whitewashed version
"“Don’t be afraid, calm down, I won’t kill you,” the gunman told her in a steady voice, with a calm look in his eyes, she recalled. “You are a woman. But think about what you’re doing. It’s not right"

Okay, so there are two separate hostage situations? Looks like the original Hebdo murderers are have been killed, but there is another gun fight going on at a deli.

I'm appalled by the militarization of the French police; i've seen armored trucks and assault rifles.

Why can't they just wait these people out? Talk them down.

I'd say they changed it to be more michal1980 friendly
Most people realize these terrorist do not speak for anyone but themselves.
But if someone like you see's the word Quran your going to be convinced its an Islam thing

Here's a quote from a survivor

“Charb, Cabu, Wolenski, Bernard Maris, Honoré, Elsa, Tignous, Mustapha, the guard who was shot, who was protecting us – they didn't die for nothing. There is no hatred to have against Muslims. Everyone each day has to uphold the values of the republic.”

Looks like the two brothers got their wish of martyring themselves. They will go to Muslim heaven and be rewarded with their bushel of virgin maids for killing infidels.

I wonder what kind of mind conditioning these terrorist-types must go through to actually believe that getting killed while in the act of murdering innocents is a guaranteed ticket to a muslim-styled heaven?

So you're saying the paper removed a reference to islam so that people who think the killings were related to islam won't have the affirmation that they were right?

The comments on these forums and all those I have seen after major paper articles tell me your view that these have nothing to do with islam is a minority one. I wonder if you realize most don't share your view.

Can you show me all these major papers with those articles?

Omar:
By purely just saying based on the cartoons this incident happened isn’t it treating it quite superficially? The cartoons, you could look at it, were the straw that broke the camel’s back. When ministers etc. start talking about what’s happened there, why do they never talk about everything else that’s going on? And then this happens at the end of it.

I’m sure when you look into these people, they claim to be defending the honour of the Prophet… was their lifestyle commensurate with people who the love of the prophet, peace be on him? You’ll find it wasn’t. It’s not just the love of the Prophet which caused this action. It’s a lot more. This is always taken out of the discussion and they just focus on the cartoons and it’s just doing a disservice to the reality of how 1.4bn Muslims around the world feel.

Clegg:
I’m sorry, Omar, I’ve got to interrupt. I think if I understand you correctly, I cannot express to you how strongly I disagree with you. There can be no excuse, no reason, no explanation… They have killed cartoonists who have done nothing more than drawings which they so happen to find offensive.

Here’s the bottom line, Omar, at the end of the day in a free society people have to be free to offend each other. You cannot have freedom unless people are free to offend each other.
We have no right not to be offended.

That fundamental principle of being free to offend people - and not saying somehow that you have a right not be offended in a democratic, open society such as ours is exactly what was under threat by these murderous barbarians. To even suggest, Omar, that there is a rationale, an explanation, a motive that somehow absolves them or sheds greater light on such a horrific, cold hearted, cowardly act, I find outrageous.

Omar:
You’re absolutely right… But why is the rest of discussion not brought in? If they [the attackers] feel that - look - America, they were complicit in torture globally. It’s all of these things together, Iraq being invaded.

Clegg:

Omar for heaven’s sake don’t mix things [up]… Of course it is utterly wrong the way in which it now appears that the American intelligence agencies and others according to that report were doing things which are totally unacceptable in a law abiding society. But to somehow mix that in any way with the perverted things that must have been going on in the heads of these individuals? To go into a newspaper office and shoot cartoonists, I mean, that you’re even drawing the link I find so inexplicable. There is no link which can in anyway seek to explain such a random, such a cruel, such a cowardly act as what we saw in Paris yesterday.

A few news, first is that the french government was warned 6 of January by the Algerian secret services that a big scale operation was to be staged in France, second info is trivial but just too funny, the guy who was holding some hostages at a store has been received, with a bunch of other young men and women, by then President Sarkozy at the presidential palace in 2009....

It's a bloody shame the police on the streets didn't have the FORCE to stop the terrorists yesterday.

Demilitarize the police! Except...when you need them!

/sc

Anyway, I think they have a confusing police structure...very foreign to what we have in the states
