10th major upset of the season/ 2nd of the day brewing? what is with upsets this year!!

I dunno, probably parity or some BS like that. I hate it....nobody wants to see South Florida in the national championship game. It's bad for college football due to lack or ratings for BCS games.

Actually I would bet LOTS of people would want to see SFU be in the championship game simply because it would kill the BCS and hopefully force a playoff system.

I would love to see a playoff system.

a lot of these top 10 upsets tend to be simply off days for some teams, and they end up screwing the team out of a chance of a national championship. Nobody can be perfect for the entirety of every game. a playoff would give all the teams a chance, but it seems it may never happen because that would require a LOT more games, possibly closer to 18 games if you make it to the NC, and thats only thinking 4 playoff games and the NC game (13 regular season games), and a lot of the schools aren't going to want that kind of stress on their players, at least I'd see that being a major argument against a playoff system.

OMG, the QB lost the game for cal, he ran the ball and got tackled

:music:
Every time I get my hopes up
They always seem to fall
Still what could've been
Is better than
What could never be at all
At all
:music:

well it was a great journey for Cal to reach #1 if only for a game

now to hand it off to the big boys, the professional amateur athletes

kinda ironic for Berkeley to go down on a stupid play by the qb
