You know, with all these upsets, BC has been creeping up.

I find it unreal that BC will most likely be ranked #2.

I mean I like BC, but that's just messed up. :Q

They shouldn't have even attempted a game winning play to begin with, way too risky. That and they had all the momentum on their side to win overtime.

That was the play I have ever seen. Everyone was expecting a field goal too

I was expecting that. Had no idea what was going on since I was just watching the scores and plays get updated on ESPN's website, and with 5 seconds left at the 9 or wherever they were, I was thinking, yep it's gonna go into OT with a wellplaced FG right here. Then I saw no score change and that they apparently were attempting to drive it in to the endzone. Idiots.

Don't blame the QB. Half of the blame lies on the coaching. Coaches decide the plays.

The pocket collapsed on Riley, and he tries to run it, even though there was only 14 seconds left when the ball was snapped. He should have thrown it away and allowed the FG unit to tie the score up. He tried to be a hero, and he ended up being a goat.

I was at the game. Momentum built up. That 4th and 17 conversion was insane, and I swear we had it sealed for a tie at least. With 18 seconds left the ball was snapped. Riley looked like he was in trouble. He was still looking for receivers when he was sacked. Maybe he raised his arm to throw but no way. He ran for a little bit and then got sacked. What was retarded was that he was trying to be a hero in getting the TD. I know it would be dramatic, but this was just a bonehead play.

We lost to UCLA and OSU and Oregon 2 years ago because we got freaking intercepted each time. That's fine because at least each time it was either throw it or you're screwed. This time, we had the chance to tie, and we lost that chance because someone made a bonehead play. Ugh.

Bottom line is everyone knows Riley is not ready to play. Our 3rd stringer, Van Meter is in better shape to play. But why does Riley play? He's got a scholarship. Van Meter's seen tons of action last year, and almost everyone on the team is more confident that he can play better than Riley. It's all politics. I recorded the Oregon game and you could see Riley screwing up on a handoff. I heard that some of the coaches bitched him out before Tedford stepped in.

BTW, have you noticed the first two college football games on VERSUS channel?

1) USC (1) loses to Stanford in spectacular fashion.

2) California (de facto 1 after LSU lost) loses to Oregon State in even more spectacular fashion.

What's their game next week??

Riley sucks!! Sure, Cal might have lost in OT had it happened, but riley never even made that almost guaranteed option possible.

I mean, I was listening on KGO and the reporters were literally shouting and freaking out. Before the play they said "...Tedford is probably telling him he can NOT be sacked and must throw the ball away....." and then during the play....he kept on screaming "HE'S NOT THROWING IT AWAY! HE'S RUNNING! WHAT IS HE DOING!!.....(pause)...... UNBELIEVABLE MISTAKE! UNBELIEVABLE MISTAKE! UNBELIEVABLE MISTAKE! UNBELIEVABLE MISTAKE! UNBELIEVABLE MISTAKE!" until I thought he was about to pass out.

:( Good times though.

Audio clip plz.

What's even weirder is that he randomly ran off the field with the ball instead of trying to spike it.
