yep i lost 🙁

just cant keep up with the 216fsb 432ddr using a 2.26b (mhz for mhz) ~ even with a slight vid card advantage and 10 extra mhz.

at least i won the UT botmatch test tho 😛 😉

You are gonna SCREAM at 233+fsb...OMG...with that memory and assuming my mobo is hindering me a bit...jeez...:Q😀 I think I'm dying to see your results more than you are!!! 😛 Alright, maybe not quite as much...hehe 🙂

Hey, THUGS, care to place a friendly wager😉? heehee😛

I'm psyched to be moving into this area with such fine company🙂! We 3 have the same exact mobos and RAM, which should make for some interesting cross-referencing of data. The man to watch, IMHO, is going to be Pastorjay (that's right, buddy; you're our official "Anandtech 200+fsb GB beta-tester😛!). His results will probably determine the speed (no pun intended, heh) at which I move over to the Granite Bay platform. What are you guys using for protection around the core? You're using air-based heatsinks, right? I guess I'm lucky that I have the 4-post screw-down method for attaching my Maze3 to the core🙂.

Mikki, anything new to report?

"These are exciting times, exciting times!"

Erik

ErikaeanLogic, all I've got is my Swifty plopped on top of the chip with some AS3. Nothing else at the moment, but I'm up for options...🙂 Nothing new to report, tho I've dug up some info on the m-chips, I'll post it in my other thread...😉 I'm already moving to GB, just haven't decided on a board yet, and if I wanted the Asus board, I'd have to wait anyway...

The game is afoot, gentlemen🙂! You can check the FS/T forum for the fallout of this new cpu's arrival, heh😉.

edit: C1 stepping CONFIRMED!!!😀:Q😀
My bloody credit cards keep jumping out of my wallet. :disgust:
Is there a cure for this without buying one of these P4m chips?

ErikaeanLogic cheers and wishing luck to you. 🙂

Tempting as it may be..Ive got to wait before I can jump on the P4M train....at least Im set now, picked my xms3500c2 Platinum up this AM (1x512mb), nice looking stick :0)

Cant wait to see what your results will be..

hmmmm, when Intel comes out with the 3.2ghz, isnt that ironic, itll be a 1.6a (C1 or C2?) x200fsb...

holy crap am I exited, Heck im gettin me one of them
so u say the ones at insight components are c1 stepping?
gosh darnit i just cant wait

Again I want to emphasize: those of you that are jumping on this train are going to be testers or experimenters...this whole thing is not set in stone and has not been tested fully-->esp. the long term effects of this kind of voltage thru this chip. So as pleased as I am that everyone is so excited about this, just remember that we are all testing a new thing, notreviewing an old thing...😉🙂

Now what was I gonna say? O yeah...good luck Boyne7!!! 😉

Yes, this is a test, and tests sometimes come at a cost. In this case, I think the worse case cost would be that of a mobile processor. So, if you are not willing to lose that investment, this IS NOT FOR YOU! This ride is not for those with faint of heart, those who may have certain physical handicaps, back problems, and those that might be pregnant... 😀

They all default to 12x. A 1.8 is not needed since they all default to 12x, though that is a good price.

I can get it for $180. What's the multiplier on this CPU?

You guys make me sick I keep buying video cards every 6 months and you guys get these new chips every week it seems😀

Congrats on those overclocks HOLY MOLY GUACAMOLE 220 fsb your gonna make me puke and kill my keyboard. Now it seems the 1.7m is the new o/c king huh? Those 1.6 sure didnt last long.

Also go to sleep you nuts or at least play some games or something your making me all flustered with these kick ass numbers.

Keep the info coming or better yet guys get some Radeon pro 9700 cards and do some major damage at Madonion with those fsb.

Newegg has the 2.0 (still) for $350. Only PIII-Ms show up on PriceGrabber/Watch. (After you have booked yours), could you give up your source?
