That is such a great level of performance for a $170-ish CPU. I have high hopes for Zen 3. It's amazing how far we have come already.
I haven't bothered to even tweak it yet.

It performs very well for a fairly inexpensive cpu.

My ST score was from a while ago. I recently did several ST R20 runs and have been scoring a 508. Anyone else have a lower ST score since the last few windows updates? I don't think it's Margin of Error, seems to large.

It's only a 1.17% difference, I wouldn't be too concerned about that.

i'm on 1909 and no decrease in score.

also was that a typo

3778 is 8/8 SMT is off

I found the issue and was hitting 515/516, again. Actually I ran a 525 not too long ago with some adjustments with the bios and power plan, but the best balance brings me 520 ST

Thank you for the reply :)

I don't bother with single it matters so little as i keep this thing loaded 24/7. F@H was running and the second i went to run, it went poof or something idk. Forgot it was running. That uses like 4.6% of the cpu usually as it needs a thread for the 1080ti to fold. Score with all off is like 7073. CPU usage charts are showing me goofing off half a run, shutting it down reopening and then benching.

Rig in signature, fully updated to 1909. 105 TDDP in place here. Normal LLC. Power plan is stock balanced, minus a kill on any sleep modes

Also, from my previous run, here are the current/min/max clocks. CCD0 has hit 4.8 GHz before on every core at different times. CCD1 has hit 4.4 GHz on every core at different times. The chip idles at around 970mV. I don't know what the week code is on my chip, but I just purchased it 2 weeks ago.

You should check/monitor the "Core X effective clock" in hwinfo instead, as only it will tell you the real clockspeed your cpu was running at in said benchmark..

I only monitor core 0 and 1 as these are my best cores, together with my average effective core clock. (screenshot below not from any "bench session")

Highest single threaded i've managed in Cinebench R20 is 546 points, and a multithreaded score of 10300 points
CPU-Z = 579.9 singlethread and 11786.5 multithread

All numbers above with PBO enabled

I was going to, but the numbers were pretty close.

EDIT: playing around with undervoltimg right now and all I can say is WOW.

My 10900K @ 5.0GHz all core. 5.3GHz single core (although it's most likely 5.2GHz with other background processes running)

My 9900K @ 4.8GHz all core 5.0GHz single core is below it.

Tweaked the system a bit. Passed all my stress tests.
5.1GHz all core turbo
5.2GHz turbo with up to 3 cores
5.3GHz single core turbo
Ring at 4.7GHz
32GB DDR4 @ 3866 16-18-18-34-560-2T

Nice. Did you use different overclock settings for the single core and multi core tests?

I use turbo overclocking by setting the multiplier of the core groups. The multipliers and number of cores are in my post.
