So folks who support Trump and project 2025 goals of ending democracy and institutions a theocratic government.

You feel good with flipping the bird to the constitution and punishing American citizens?

You happy with the explosion of health care cost, the economy and the overall vibe?

You knew about everything back in 2024. We told you. They told you.
You wanted it to all fall apart and thats what you are getting.

Waiting for our apology letters from the press who said that Trump disavowed P2025 and that Democrats claiming he would implement it were basically slanderous. They think its awesome known notorious liar snookered them and that they in turn helped him lie to the electorate.

Turns out atheism is the only religion worth the papyrus it's written on.
Not religion. The scientific method. Education. Facts. Reason.
Those are what hold together actual bonds of fellowship and human rights.
Everything else just devolves into madness and slaughter. As humans always have.

Project2025 is to bring about the end of Democracy. And now it has arrived.
Celebrated and cheered by their faithful. Utterly ignorant of all the death they will cause.

BUT TRUMP SAID HE DIDN’T SUPPORT IT!!!

That’s literally the response I get from maga.

MAGA is brainwashed to believe the opposite of the truth.

Some truths though are self evident like a strong middle class is essential for a strong democracy.

If you have a large weak middle class and a small wealthy group, then democracy will cause the poor to eat the rich.

Therefore, in countries with a weakening middle class like ours, the rich will dismantle democracy and make the government more authoritarian so the rich can keep their wealth.

And keeping 50 states together helps the rich more than it does the middle class because it keeps Washington far away from people to actual show up for a rebellion!

My how the liars have changed

The beauty of it all is how Trump's lies, constant contradictions, takebacks, self-incriminations, blatantly false accusations and acts of sheer idiocy gets ignored and excused away into a puff of nothingness by his dumbed down lynch mob as if any of it ever happened because in their minds any enemy of Trump is an enemy of theirs of which at one time or another includes our own FBI and our vaunted intelligence agencies. As well, any nations that are presently anti-democratic enemies of ours gets a pass because Trump, well, he likes his fellow fascist leaders like Putin, Jinping, Jong-un, Orbán so in the eyes of the MAGAts who describe themselves as "Patriots" these actual enemies of America have somehow become our friends.

To END democracy?

Are you a democracy right now?

Cause the Mamdani business is pulling some dark shit out into the light.
Sorry about Cenk...

But basically the right is outright(duh) publicly stating the the primary reason for Mamdani hate is that is doesnt bow to Israel and secondly that its a problem that the elite tier cant subvert the will of the people.

This is dark stuff

In my previous and younger life, I was teaching some Asian graduate students (English as a second language) in the field of Database Theory. I found a chapter in a book that was otherwise excellent, but it included a gross error, certainly provable in comparison to at least two other sources.

I assigned the chapter for reading. Then, in my lecture, I even told them about the error, and laid it all out on the chalkboard.

After that, I crafted a midterm exam question that would prove either (a) they believed everything they saw in print, or (b) my lectures with their notes held equal weight to the printed matter.

Statistically, a profound majority of students leaned toward the printed mistake. And these were well-educated grad students. Their English-- written and spoken -- was pretty damn good.

So two weeks before the election, I encountered some Trumpers who discounted Project 2025, saying Trump wasn't following it as a playbook. What a surprise it must've been to them in recent months!

But how would that happen? Why wouldn't they believe what they saw in print, as opposed to accepting a belief in Trump's spoken words?

I suspect that this happened because the Dummies don't read much. In fact, I have it from other instances of exchanges with Trumpers that they don't read at all, and they don't read or watch the news -- news of any kind.
