It was mentioned on CNN yesterday, don't recall which Dem, but they attempted to put up to vote motion to acknowledge that 13 GOP members won their seat inspite Biden winning in those areas.

Surprisingly, it was a Republican, Rep. Chip Roy.

Rep. Chip Roy (R-Tex.) came out Sunday against a ploy by his fellow congressional Republicans to object to the counting of electoral votes from states where President Trump has challenged the results. Roy did so on federalist grounds, saying Congress had no right to overturn the results in a given state. He has since been joined by conservatives such as Sens. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) and Mike Lee (R-Utah).
But Roy didn’t just do that; he also decided to make a point.

Jan. 3 is, per the Constitution, the swearing-in day for members of Congress. And members of Congress can’t only object to accepting a given state’s electoral slate, but they can also object to the seating of fellow members. So if the presidential race was suspect, Roy reasoned logically, why not the elections of his fellow members of Congress from those same states?

So he pushed for a vote. All but two Republicans voted to seat the members, bypassing any concerns about the validity of their elections.

Do we want President Pence pardoning the impeached former President Trump?
Better to haul in into a court room and make him speak under oath after he's left and there isn't one of his buddies in charge of things.
If I read the Constitution correctly if he's under impeachment he can't be pardoned for it.

We can give him some credit but let's be honest, he did the bare minimum in this situation and only released the call out of leverage!
Doing the right thing only if personal is at stake.
I mean, the right thing was also to not give into Trumps delusions, still, with half a brain anyone out for their own skin would never jump on the current state of TrumpTanic and be instrumental in the dumpster fire, glorious as it may be.

It's well past time for some of those federal judges to bring contempt charges against his lawyers for their repeated baseless claims.

Heh. They're all lawyers. It reminds me of the old joke about the lawyer & is bride on their honeymoon cruise. Just as they approached the dock he slipped overboard & sharks closed in. Unexpectedly, the largest shark bore the lawyer up on his back & carried him to the beach. When reunited, his bride asked him why that happened & he replied that it was a professional courtesy... A fair amount of lawyering is just fee churning & judges indulge them much the same way.

You've been here since aught five and you don't know Glenn?

I thought Glenn got banned? He showed up at "the place that shall not be named" a few months ago...shortly after Ugly Casanova did. (maybe he was just looking for a place more...conservative)

You know, we live in a reality right now where it is....a near certainty that some elected conservative retard will stand up in Congress with a placard of this printed image, claim it is evidence of the stolen vote, and must be investigated, NOW!

and millions of other starving retards will believe him and bray about it on parler for weeks.

Incidentally, I still don't understand what he meant by the bolded part:

"All I want to do is this. I just want to find 11,780 votes, which is one more than we have "

Is that just Trump's usual word-salad and inability to express himself coherently? It seems to imply that he has 11,779 votes and he needs one more.

Trump is always cutting himself off mid sentence cause his mind wanders, so he left out
".. to have"
".. to get"
Something like that.

In the end Trump turns on everyone:

A senior White House official tells CNN what Trump is doing to Vice President Pence in their final days in office is "shameful."

This official, whose views are closely aligned with the President's, noted how Pence has stuck by the President since the Access Hollywood days only to witness him turn on him at the very end.

Awww....look at that. The baby boy found a definition he can understand. Too bad there are other definitions....guess they're just too esoteric for baby boy to comprehend.
He apparently was able to Google it, copy/paste the results, but clearly not a fucking clue as to the meaning.

Trump is throwing so many under the bus that it is going to be high centered on the bodies.
