Somehow, I managed to disable Stand-By and Hibernation on my Laptop running XP Pro. I want the system to go into stand-by when I shut the lid, however its not an option anywhere. I can't even go to start -> shutdown -> stand-by (or hibernate)! I have xteq installed, and I might have done it...

I can't get CD's to autorun. I disabled some services for Windows XP and perhaps I inadvertently disabled this. Anyone know? I have no option on the drive to "run autoplay" in device manager.

I have tried setting CoolSwitch to 0 in the registry, but this does not work. I even reformatted and tried doing it and still no beans, there has got to be something else that disables this. Long story why I need it disabled.

How can I disable alt+tab? I tried the registry edit of CoolSwitch, but its no good. and I DO want to do this I have my reasons. XP Pro.
