Disk Issues with large files

Whenever I unzip a large file or install a downloaded file that has to decompress alot, I get an error. I think its somehow related to my RAID array. I have two WD 80 Gig SE's in RAID 0 on my ICH5R. I am using my abit seriel2 connector and another different adapter I bought at the local computer store. The array works perfectly for everything else, and I get comparable scores in Sandra's disk benches. I have another seriel 2 adapter in the mail, will this fix it? It happens with any file greater than 100 mb.

The error that winzip shows is a difference in file size after its decompressed, but its off by only 1, like it will be 15003833 and when I unzip it is 15003832 and then it says they don't match. Any ideas?
