Processor Upgrade on Intel 440BX AGPset

I Just put a Cel 1G in a 440BX an old Abit BH6 slot 1 and it worked fine(used a 370 to slot converter card, asus smart sloket). Just make sure your mobo supports 1.75 volts through to 2.0+ for some of the stuff out there. I think it should work on your board, check dell to see what they say as...

    Help Using a CDRW Drive?

Yes Nero is the one to use, forget ezcd its a coaster maker in most cases. I know nero would be most peoples quick choice for this task, but I like to use an external program, music match. That is if your looking for an external prog, thought I would recommend it.

    Radeon 7500le v's GeForce2 Pro

I'm quite positive you would be happier with the ati 7500le over the gf2. Better 2d/3d how can you go wrong. Check out on overclocking the le to 7500 speeds.

    Radeon 8500 or Geforce3 Ti200

From what I understand, the ATi cards 7000+ have superior 2d to the geforce cards, and the 8500 would defintely work in 2000. I own a radeon and 2 quality is awesome, I did have a gf mx200 but I swapped out for the ati.

Generic Ink Cartridges for HP Photo Printing?

Dude be careful with ink refills, or no name brands.. they can clog your ink nossel/print head and degrade quality of print. Cannon for some reason doesn't give a hoot what you run through it, but Epson defintely does and I can't see why HP would enjoy have crap pushed through its veins...

Building new PC - Confused how to connect sound

This sounds very strange that the (three 4 pin inputs marked "Mitsumi", "Panasonic" and "IDE") would be labeled with those headers, sounds more like CD-ROM controller/IDE hook-ups. But if indeed there are just 3 - 4pin plugs on the sound card then one is probably CD1, other CD2 and AUX.. or CD...

Yes VIA=crap and I wish my vivo se 64ddr even worked with ogl games in xp.. the only one that does is mdk2, and that's it. D3D works fine. That's why I play games in 98 and live my alternate life in xp. If that ati patch deal works for you fine.

New hard drive is not displayed under My Computer

Did you format, fdisk and all that drive preparing stuff? Cause if it has no File system on it, you won't be able to see it in my computer. But having no FS has no bearing on it locking your computer on an IDE channel, so it could very well be a bad drive.

CPU Speed & Bus Speed ??? HELP

the XP has new copper interconnects that allow it to run faster and use less power. It also includes a data prefetch cache predictor and a translation look-aside buffer that helps it to use its 384K of cache. It also supports SMP (multiprocessors), and why I think they call it xp is because it...
