Agreed. I have an American Strat and the Mexi I had a few years ago was just as good. I bet if you pulled five Mexi's off the wall at any given music store, at least one would be a truly great guitar.

I find the whole idea incredibly invasive, demeaning and un-American. It makes me sad that so many people would so readily submit to it.

What is it about extremely technically skilled musicians that makes them incapable of writing a decent three-minute rock song? It's a crime that so much work went into such embarrassing material. It's like hand-carving carving an exquisitely detailed sculpture of a Kia Sedona in Italian marble.

I couldn't care less about Saddam. What makes me uneasy is knowing that millions of Americans are going to go to bed tonight thinking that the War on Terror is now over, and that the man responsible for 9/11 has finally been punished.
