how do I use a boot disk if the system never had MS DOS in the first place? Win2k Pro was its native OS.

to flash my laptop's DVD drive (unlock the region), I need to be running "Real DOS", as the readme which comes with the zip file to crack it says I will not be able to flash using the command prompt from windows. So, is it possible to enter 'real dos' mode using win2k pro?

I don't know if this has been mentioned before, but AMEX just sent me a cheque for $175 because i found the exact same thinkpad listed by IBM on its storefront for $175 less (after I filed a claim with their price protection department) It's strange, because last month they sent me a letter...
