I can't find anyplace that says venice MIGHT have 92 cores. Only 96 and 128.
I also don't think the 96 core would be in compition for Panther lake, only the 128 core varieties, and I think Zen 6 would beat them. We will see.
The day ended at 1:40 PDT and I posted at 2:08 PDT, so I was late.
as a team we are absolutely kicking hiney.
I am 3rd, so that's just honorable mention.
Well, this is not the official day one, but its close. Top 5 teams. And seti germany came from I don't know where. I did not see them anywhere close to the top one hour ago. They could even overtake us. (I could be wrong on that)
The 9555 (64 core) I think is 360 watt. I should look it up... Yup, see below
The AMD EPYC 9555 is a 64-core processor with a base clock speed of 3.2 GHz and a maximum turbo frequency of 4.4 GHz. It has a 256MB L3 cache and a TDP of 360W. It supports DDR5-6400 memory and has 128 lanes of PCIe...
One thing you forgot.... So I have a 3900x with a 970.
Then Upgraded the GPU to a 1080TI
Then to a 2080TI
Then CPU to a 5950x
Then GPU to a 3080TI
Then GPU to a 4080
Then CPU to a 9950x.
Then GPU to a 5090.
Lets see you do that on a laptop.
Your question, what is the best AM5 motherboard could be answered by the best AM5 expert in high CPU usage/overclocking.
re-reading, maybe that was not the source of your comment, but at least maybe we can get an answer to the AM5 motherboard question from detx
