Is is that tweet about 48 core being delayed? Or something else

Cache product for nova lake, the big gaming one, has gone. Speculated about that few months ago. Couldn't see them making it.
There was a tweet from Raichu saying the big cache is real.

Intel the way of the dodo s15e01 by MShLeeT ?

Means AMD free run at all of DIY for another gen. Think that's substantial for enthusiasts
bLLC is launching before that though and all the enthusiasts care about that and 8+16 should be enough it's still 2X the MT of 9800X3D lol and if it beats it in gaming by 15-20% I don't see any reason it won't sell.

Two theories.

18A delay

#2 was confirmed this morning-- at least that it wont have the bLLC and will release later. That would have been a pointless SKU anyway.

But that cannot be the big news, a quarter delay with a niche product is nothing to write home about. The fuzz has to be about something substantial...like a cancellation of jaguar shores or something. Like big. Otherwise people would not be so freaking secretive.

We have said MANY TIMES you will keep the two companies separate in its own thread. AMD Thread is NOT a Intel Thread and vice versa. You can only bring the other company when used in a Valid comparison which stays on topic
AMD and Intel thread only exists in name it is normal for Intel thread to become an AMD thread or vice versa if they can share the ISA why can't we share the thread 🤣

some intel document have the bLLC skus missing so they are assuming it might be cancelled. that's all there is to it lol.

That sounds suspiciously like someone stubbed their toe again on their P core design... Perhaps a very underwhelming benchmark is now incoming...

That niche product was their hope for the whole of DIY. AMD's cache models are niche overall for volume but are not niche for DIY.

It's also a niche where AMD is continuing to get better with each generation. The cache die should be on an improved process for Zen6, which means it can run faster and generate less heat in the process as compared to what they currently use. It also does a lot to negate Intel's advantage in having a better memory controller implementation in many performance critical applications. They had to do something...

Really not the limiting factor for caches per se.
Intel's advantage in having a better memory controller implementation
