So far with the SLI beta bios I didn't encounter any errors with my external hard drive (moving files from 1go to 4go). I'll do more extensive testing over the week-end.

So far, after having transfered like 15Go to/from my USB hard drive I haven't experienced any freeze. I will continue to test this new bios to make sure it has nothing with "luck" :) @Illuminix: I agree with you for the first X2 owners, it hasn't been fast at all.

Well, I've an opty 165 too and the K8 FID/VID is greyed out too. I installed the hotfix but it was like this before I do. Just my 2 cents.

Just look at what is written on the top of your cpu. You should have something like CCBWE and some letters and numbers. That is your stepping. For example : CCBWE 0534SPMW

If the PSU is not the issue, could it be a sensor issue and/or a bios issue that doesn't give a good vcore voltage reading?
