This might technically not be the correct forum, but I'll probably get a better answer here (and it is CPU related :p)

The Clockgen K8 FID/VID button is greyed out in clockgen.
I'm not sure when this started happening.
I know it was fine on the Venice.

I don't know if it was fine after getting my opteron (though I believe it was) [165]
I'm pretty sure it wasn't fine after I installed the hotfix.

So, thinking it's the hotfix.
Hm.

What to do?
I'd really like to be able to adjust the voltage in windows.
Thanks.

Well, I've an opty 165 too and the K8 FID/VID is greyed out too. I installed the hotfix but it was like this before I do. Just my 2 cents.

As I said...testing...don't want to reboot all the time when searching for the least stable volts... ;)
The final word is then of cource burned to the CMOS...
