The GT's get really hot. under full load with room temp of 30c. The card reaches 91c running 30min using the dynamic branching demo I'm just have to wait for zalman to come out with a cooler for 6800 GTs

High end LCD such as Syncmaster 213T or 2001F by dell. Will these work in japan or will there be problems. The voltage levels in Japan are different than the USA. So is the display design to work with multple ac voltages? Also is DVI connectors different in japan? THanks

Yes it will two modules of that ram can run at 2226 at 400mhz tested by corsair, if you go to 4 modules then you have to drop the timing to like 2336 or something like that.

So duak channel DDR doesn't work the same as dual channel rdram where latency gets cut in half then? So how much latency do you get with dual channel DDR if you had two sticks of 8n DDR ?

That may be true, but its moot in dual channel which will cut the latency by one half. So if you have 8ns DDR, in dual channel you now have a 4ns latecency not to mention awesome bandwith for that latency. People will have to get used to buying DDR in pairs and probably from same manufacturer...

Intels own 845D chipset is actually slower than the 850. But sis and via's are faster with ddr than intels 845. I doubt intel will actually ever make a non rdram chipset that outperforms their own rdram chipset. I won't be suprised when then 533mhz FSB comes out probably around 4 to 5 months...

Under windows 2000, when switching a dos window ie command prompt to full screen, the cursor blinks much more rapidly. I can control the blink rate in windowed mode thru windows 2000 control panel. But can't do it for full screen. Videocard: Gainward Geforce3

I would call tech support for the monitor. That doesn't sound right to me esspecially if it's brand new.

Keep an eye on the price. I heard from others that price is so low because of supply is greater than demand. So if the prices start going up, then buy at the time.

The board I just oreded is from www.cnetpc.com and they say the board has ATA-100 right in their ad. So I assume this is the later board. I can't imagine any new board these days without ATA-100. basically I am buying this board not so much as an upgrade but to give VIA a shot over CUSL2. If...
