Intels own 845D chipset is actually slower than the 850. But sis and via's are faster with ddr than intels 845.
I doubt intel will actually ever make a non rdram chipset that outperforms their own rdram chipset.
I won't be suprised when then 533mhz FSB comes out probably around 4 to 5 months from now and out performs their ddr 333 chipset.
They'll have a new rdram chipset using 1066 rdram and they'll have a new ddr chipset using ddr 333.
But all of this isn't till 2nd quarter, so I would say 4 to 6 months.
