WHEN they send it, it will be overnight delivery. Not that they were overnighting it that day. DOH! I'm about done with GW and talking to 3+ people everytime I call. My delivery date is 13Aug so, if it isn't here by then, I'll call again and recieve yet another lie.

No hey, I agree with all of you. I myself am very skeptical and as you can see from my posts before, I've been burned as well ;) And I've talked to two reps from "customer service." I use that loosely as I am a customer and have gotten zero service. If anything I got overnight delivery for free...

Here it goes for another update. Just the messenger remind you... They have the XT/PE in stock. Are mailing them out as we speak to different customers. I got my shipping status to overnight once they do ship, which I guess is a plus but I still wish I could play Q3 in higher res thatn 640x480.

Well, again I called Gateway. They confirmed my XT/PE has shipped. Strangely enough they had no tracking number or shipping date. But they confirmed it had been shipped. hmm These guys seem to have no integrity. If this shipment does not materialize, they are through.

Dang, well I've read a few more posts and it seems these people are full of empty promises. Probobly in my case too as my date went from 7/30 to 8/14. Nice

I just spoke with customer support at Gateway. I ordered mine on July 1, and they said it would be delivered by July 30. Well, today is July 31 and no card. So they just me on the phone today that the cards are being shipped out within the next 24 hrs. God bless them if this is true.

Right now I'm looking at buying the Samsung 52X24X52X16 CDR-W/DVD Combo Drive, Model SM-352BEN BEIGE, OEM. Is this decent or is reading too much CD content going to ruin the DVD capability? thanks Derek

I purchased an analog to digital COAX converter from radioshack. Cost was around $70 I think last summer. Now I just hook the 3 cables into my vcr(or TV) and connect the coax to the 680 receiver and wooolah. TV, VCR, DVD, PS2, GC etc... all on surround :) derek

Has anyone tried using the new Corsair 3200XLPRO twin package(1gb) with the 2 2 2 timings?

My Albatron Ti4600 is about done. I've gone from Matrox to 3dFX to Nvidia. Now it looks like I'm heading towards ATI x800XT. Far Cry is such a good game to waste on my DX 8 card.

I just got off the phone with a sales rep at the retail store MicroCenter in Denver, CO. He stated that the cards are in order from ATI and have not reached their main wharehouse; ETA on shelves at least two weeks.

Well, I've called the local BestBuy stores and the CompUSA store here in Colorado Springs and I got answeres that ranged from, "uhhh.." to "eh?" So I'm not too sure I'll see this card before the end of the week. DOH!

On ATI's website it lists CompUSA and BestBuy to purchase this card from. On both respective sites, they don't list this new product. Will the card now be only available online or are the retail stores going to carry them as well? Thanks

Or should I just wait and upgrade when the 939s are out? I also only have 4x AGP. Although I just ordered a new NEC|22"CRT FP2141SB-BK, so I want something good to drive it than my TI4600. Thanks
