I as well tried all of the suggested fixes but still had the problem. Deleting the boot.ini file worked. After finishing the install, I just created a new boot.ini file. All is fine now.
I don't know if you have resolved your problem, but had the same issue and found a work around. I went into recovery console and simply deleted the boot.ini file. Uon reboot, XP errored with an invalid or missing boot.ini file but went on to boot. We'll see if that gets me going again.
I have had this keyboard for about a year now and it works great. Never a problem with it. I paid a bit more back then, so I think I will get another one for a new system.
Well I got mine on Monday, amazing since I ordered on Saturday. I am impressed with the Sunday shipping and to my door on Monday. Had it installed at 143MHz, CL3. Best it would do.
I also received the 128MB PC100 and it runs at 143MHz, CL2. A bit better, but no noticeable difference between...
Hard to say if they are in stock or not. My order references a second sku# (03531) which according to the CSR is in stock and should ship out Monday. Check your order and see if it references a second sku#. If so, then the assumption is it will go through.

The minimum the Athlon requires is unbuffered, 8ns, CAS3. You might double check the AMD site for the specs. As far as the receipt, I plan on using the packing slip and the printed invoice for the rebate. The rebate form states "original sales receipt or packing slip.."...
That's the way I read it. Its 2 different Kingston offers for the 128MB deals(#s 280 and 252), so I would expect 2 rebates for these. If you count the 256MB deal (offer# 258), then I should receive 3 rebates.
Just FYI, since there is only 1 rebate per household (depending on the Kingston PN you buy), I went ahead and also ordered the 128MB PC100 (sku #: 11426) so I could get 2 rebates. It has the same specs as the 256MB deal I got earlier from Buy.com and I have that running at 142Mhz. Guess either...
I think they are the same, but with different SKU#s. They both reference the same rebate form with the same Kingston part number. Someone correct me if I am wrong.
Close to the buy.com deal. $69.95-$20MIR = $49.95. Includes free overnight shipping. Credit to tech*bargains.
