I have a quick question, it might be a little stupid, but, I just wanted to make sure, ...

if my motherboard only supports up to PC100 type memory, if getting PC133, will that not work? malfunction? or... and if the motherboard is limited at 256MB Memory (2 x 128 MB), is there any way to add more memory without having to buy a whole new motherboard?

i think i worded the questions awkwardly, but any info will help.

Yes, PC133 will work at PC100 speed ... so no worry.
Actually I'm personally using a very old motherboard with 1 PC66 memory and 1 PC133 memory. Those ram works fine on for my system. So I think you can just go ahead and grab one or two for your system.

Ordered mine Tuesday evening and received it yesterday. I haven't had a chance to install it yet, but it does sport Nanya chips.

It is Kingston ValueRAM # KVR133X64C3/128, featuring Nanya NT56V6610C0T-75 chips.

The minimum the Athlon requires is unbuffered, 8ns, CAS3. You might double check the AMD site for the specs. As far as the receipt, I plan on using the packing slip and the printed invoice for the rebate. The rebate form states "original sales receipt or packing slip..", so I think both will do fine. At least I hope.

I'm sure some of you thought of this but for those who haven't, if you want 2 you can get them for 70 dollars!! All you have to do is send 55 dollars in flooz to one email and then 55 to another. You'll get 30 dollars free in flooz . You then have the 70 in each account needed to buy the memory. do two different orders to two different address. so far you have spend 110 for 140 worth of memory then you get 2 20 rebates if you use different addresses. So 110-40MIR 70 bucks for 256mb pc133 cl3 Valueram pretty good deal esp. if you want to put them in different systems. NOTE: you can get as many as you need for 45 if you buy in even numbers and use different addresses. Be careful though the rebate won't go to PO boxes

Hard to say if they are in stock or not. My order references a second sku# (03531) which according to the CSR is in stock and should ship out Monday. Check your order and see if it references a second sku#. If so, then the assumption is it will go through.
