I've got an older VTech phone that I got for a hot deal over the summer. It's great...caller id, and a built in answering machine. I love the phone, and I have owned other VTechs...they are great. Although...I would stay away from their 2.4 ghz model...while it looks damn kewl, my friend has one...and it always sounds like you are talking on speakerphone...not the best quality.

Great deal for a 900Mhz! Vtechs make pretty good 900Mhz phones! However, if you want a 2.4 Ghz, get a Panasonic. They are just absolutely amazing. The calls are clear and you can go far far away and still have good reception. Just my opinion of course.

I have to say on personal experience that the audio quality on vtech's is sub par. They tend to be feature filled, but sound quality isn't the greatest in my opinion-
