I think they are the same, but with different SKU#s. They both reference the same rebate form with the same Kingston part number. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

bhn_ack - Thanks, I never thought to check the part numbers. If they are the same then I am kicking myself for paying $125 for 128MB PC133 SDRAM from Crucial.com granted it's good high quality Micron RAM but I could have paid about $75 less :(

Just FYI, since there is only 1 rebate per household (depending on the Kingston PN you buy), I went ahead and also ordered the 128MB PC100 (sku #: 11426) so I could get 2 rebates. It has the same specs as the 256MB deal I got earlier from Buy.com and I have that running at 142Mhz. Guess either way I am covered.

That's good to know because I bought the 256MB PC100 Kingston ValueRAM from Buy.com and still have a $30 rebate form to mail in.

So since I am buying two different Kingston part numbers for one person, one household then I am covered? This would not be good had I purchased two of the same pn.

That's the way I read it. Its 2 different Kingston offers for the 128MB deals(#s 280 and 252), so I would expect 2 rebates for these. If you count the 256MB deal (offer# 258), then I should receive 3 rebates.

davisdog - I think you said it best "no brainer". This could be a pricing error in which case makes this super flaming hot until they catch and fix the error that is.

ordered this before and at least for me it did not work on my abit mobo bp6 and be6. Memory would only show up as 64mb. It however worked on my soyo 6vba (via chipset) and a siemens boards with a bxchipset. not as good as their pc100 cas2 though. Had to RMA mine good luck

Personally I have good luck running PC133 CAS3 memory at CAS2 on my 100 MHz Celeron 2 system. So the CAS3 is not the kiss of death many people make it out to be.

This is a fantastic deal. My only concern is the Anand effect, whereas this deal gets sold out before Outpost updates their inventory. Does Outpost.com have a good inventory and order system?

As for these Kinsgston rebates, I have done two in the past and received the rebate within the time frame on the rebate form. So I think these rebates are pretty reliable.

Kingston Valueram is surpringly VERY high quality. These probably have the infineon chips on them and are capable of doing 140+ cas2... even with my 256 pc100 with samsung chips im running pc133 cas-2 rock stable. Jump on this...
