How good can a 3400+ Newcastle Overclock with Watercooling?

I dont think the 3400+ 64 OCs well cuz its nearer to the peak of the newcastle line, but im sure it can go a couple hundred Mhz faster easily, but i doubt +400-500 Mhz overclocks. Look into the board i got, Asrock Combo-Z, good for 754s and 939s. Definitely worth the look.

    A64 core differences?

socket 939 winchesters are recommended so you can upgrade the chip later. Theyre all excellent chips in general though.

    2800vrs3000

yeah, the 2800+ 64 seems to be able to achieve the same overclocking speeds as an overclocked 3000+...around 2.4Ghz in most cases, there are exceptions in the OC world, of course. So that said....2800+ is a good deal. I'd say in a non-OCing perspective...the 3000+ is the best bang for the buck...

    A64 3000 OC tips

strange.... you definitely have the hardware to achieve 2.5 speeds i got mine to 2.5 from straight fsb to 250 and dropping ram default speed to 166 Mhz @ 1T.
