Confirmed with a tigerdirect rep that the Cache is only 256KB, so these Xeons are almost regular P4s. Note that they have taken off all references to the cache from the web page. Asked them if they would drop the price now that the deal is not hot and they said no. Adi.

Intel website says speeds below 1.7Ghz have 256KB and speeds have 512KB cache. Since tigerdirect machines have 2Ghz, would they be the newer CPUs? Called Tigerdirect and at one point they were not even sure that the boxes were not 2*1Ghz boxes! Adi.
