Yah what part of bay area?! When I was in San Jose (close to airport), I have to be close to my windows to receive signal. When I go to SFSU, no indoor place can get signal. My friend who have ATT seems getting signals all the time.

Thanks for that link, its a good one. But that's not the one i am looking for. Actually I've found the problem... a socket registry error. I found that from microsoft website, and I had to delete the winsock and winsock32 registry, now everything works
