Yah what part of bay area?! When I was in San Jose (close to airport), I have to be close to my windows to receive signal. When I go to SFSU, no indoor place can get signal. My friend who have ATT seems getting signals all the time.
So to order, do we go to that link or go to earthlink? I agree with chuenl on the rebate thing, but I am using dialup now and would like to go to dsl w/o contract. Can any one please clear this for me? thank you

Actually I've found the problem... a socket registry error. I found that from microsoft website, and I had to delete the winsock and winsock32 registry, now everything works

I was trying to let my 2nd pc share the dialup from the 1st pc. But not having much success. Both system is w2k pro, and I connected them using a crossover cat5 cable. I could see the files just fine from both pc, but can't get the 2nd pc connected. I've tried using the "ICS" internet...
