    Converting to DVI

Since Thanksgiving, it's been my desire to make my shiny new Samsung flat panel LCD the only radiant screen around here. Right now, I've just got it hooked up to this computer. Soon, however, I intend to buy a Wii, and I'd like to hook it up to this. Problem is, this monitor has only DVI & VGA...

Ipod Nano vs. Nano 2nd Gen

Aight. I was definitely getting a second gen if the wheel was the same due to the 14 vs. 24 (approx) hour battery lives. As for you funboy, I'm not going to lose it since I know how to keep my ****** straight. :)

Ipod Nano vs. Nano 2nd Gen

So I'm planning on purchasing an iPod soon. I intend on buying an iPod Nano. First or second gen depending on the answer I receive, since the 4GB model for either is the same price, and I don't really care what the finish is like. So, I was in Best Buy today, and I tried out the 2nd Gen iPod...

    Converting FLAC

I have some FLAC audio files that I want to change over to MP3 or AAC or something. Anyone know of a program that will do so without destroying the sound quality? I realize that going from FLAC to a lossy format loses quality, but i don't want it to sound too bad.

    micro ATX w/onboard vid ?

A Micro ATX board should fit into most ATX cases. The video is equivalent to say an X300 or so. Good for non-games and non-graphic intensive work. Although, I did play Far Cry for a while on mine before. :)

    Couple of X-QPACK questions...

I've got an X-QPACK, and I use a Zalman 7700. The SI-120 and XP-90 are both too tall to fit.

    PSU with PCI Express

PCI-Express cards do require a 6 pin power connector. Vhx is right though, most cards will have a Y cable so you can use a 4-pin molex connector to power it instead.

Why is my E6300 running so hot?

AMD heatsinks generally use plastic trays that come up around the sides of the heatsink, with a raise portion in the center where the thermal paste is.

    Conroe Water Cooling

So I got myself a Core 2 Extreme X6800 Conroe. I love it. I've messed with it a little, but I think I'd prefer to go the same route as my old Athlon XP, water cooling. The problem is, I'm not sure what waterblock I should use for this processor. I've seen some that say LGA775, but I have no idea...
