"The card uses an NVIDIA nForce 200 bridge chip to semaphore and broadcast data between the two GPUs, a dual 3+1+1 phase VRM that draws power from two 8-pin PCI-E power connectors, and display connectivity is relayed to the rear-panel from both the GPUs, that's four dual-link DVI, and one mini-HDMI. What this also means is that with just this one card, you can use the 3D Vision Surround feature, while retaining SLI multi-GPU scaling."

Ugh why do all the cool cards come out and price-gouging go down *after* I buy a card? This is the internal-SLI single-board GF104x2 I was potentially interested in buying but now won't because it came too late. I wonder why it's not an official card yet (e.g., GTX495)? There's probably a market for this for people who can't otherwise SLI.

NICE, and there is a sli finger on it.
So probably means that tri-or quad sli will be supported in drivers.
Actually not sure about my other comment. Will AMD boards that do not support SLI normally, function with internal sli ?

Like previous graphics cards with this chip, it removes the need for the motherboard to handle SLI.

Will we need an sli board to use this?

I wouldn't see why if it's a single card....But who knows with Nvidia ???

Wonder what it'll look like with the heatsink assembly on it. Already a pretty tall card....I'd imagine it'll take up 2-3 slots.

Kinda seems like a bad time for it to be released....Depending on price of course.

Zotac is one of my favorite nVidia AIBs. I still have my 8800GTS that I got for $79.99 from Hot Deals here on AT. Probably the most solid card I've bought since my 9250.

They are pushing non reference designs, which is great. Sort of like what Apollo did for ATI with their memory/card configurations.

Yes they will. It would have to be quad-fired with a duplicate board. NV does not support SLI with two different cards.

This is a cool-looking board. I wonder if they will actually end up selling these.

More Pictures....

Are superior in performance-power GeForce GTX 460 listed, we would like to know if the NVIDIA graphics card wielding dual-core GF104 how to lead the market, so quickly did GeForce GTX 460 SLI comprehensive test , and then recruited the top of the 4GB Sapphire Radeon HD5970 OC Edition comparison , when the test results show the GTX 460 SLI in terms of performance convincing enough.

At that time a lot of friends already and I have the same idea: that one day there will be a called a "GeForce GTX 490" of the cards turned out. This conjecture appears to be far away now, we have just received ZOTAC GeForce GTX 460X2 sent to the data, from the point of view these pictures, this graphics card with dual-GF104 core design has been basically completed. NVIDIA is busy preparing the initial list of next month's GeForce GTX 580 , ZOTAC GTX 460X2 it is natural to be a vendor's individual behavior.

Near the output side there is a 2-phase power supply corresponds to the two sets of memory, the end of each core were compared with the 3 +1 power supply configuration, while the back of the PCB has to spend a nichicon Proadlizer decoupling filter capacitor This from the ZOTAC GTX260 Extreme Edition has been introduced in to the electrical components on the graphics card, graphics card upgrade to some extent the stability at high frequencies.

Single core GTX460 requires two-6pin auxiliary power supply, this ZOTAC GTX 460X2 dual 8pin require auxiliary power supply. Memory section, Sautter use 0.5ns Samsung's GDDR5 particles produced for each core is equipped with a 1GB/256bit the memory modules, and single-core version of the same, do not rule out companies say 4GB version.

The help of the dual-core, ZOTAC GTX 460X2 DVI graphics card with up to 4 and 1 HDMI output interface, single graphics card can support 3D Vision Surround multi-screen surround magic mirror technology . The frequency of the current specifications of this card has not been finalized, but preliminary ideas Sautter is not the public version of GTX 460 lower than the frequency. As part of the price, obviously will not be too cheap, but it and the relationship between the GeForce GTX 580 is actually very subtle. After we get the samples will be tested first.

I'll be surprised if we actually see this card. It'll draw over 300W if it's to perform well. The board partners, could release it, but I'm pretty sure it's why nVidia never did a reference model.

What could it be marketed for price wise? $350USD max, I'd say.

over 300 watts? How do you figure that? 2 full gtx 460 cards will use 302 watts at full load. This is one card with 2 gpu's, it should pull about 250 watts.

People assume that SLI/Xfire means you double the TDP, not realizing that the 2nd GPU in a multi-gpu setup is not stressed as much as the primary.

Even nVidia gives the spec as 160W and we know how optimistic they tend to be.

This is true enough. It might squeeze under. I'm sure it would be close enough for nVidia to claim it and sneak past if it wasn't.

The time for this card might still be past now, though. Or, likely very soon when 6900 hits the shelves.

Well, maybe it will sell well, and maybe it wont. But also....Maybe alot of people that just bought NV cards could "step up" ?

They crippled the chips on the 295

They did? no there were not full gtx275's which drew even more power then a gtx260anyway and still made it under 300watts.

Do you know the power draw of a gtx275 and gtx260? I'm sure the power draw of the gtx295 chip was in between these. 180 watts?

180x2= 360watts.
Wonder how they got it under 300watts with the gtx295?
