She's way too mega bitch for me. It's like they softened the character a bit at the end of the movie and in the time span between the movie and the tv show, cranked her bitchness up to levels the movie version would have never dreamed of.

I just watched the pilot. its hilarious! the first couple minutes is great, and halfway through you realize this is the best pilot tv show you have seen since like dexter. great writing, great producing, great acting, excellent speed and flow. it was a real surprise! no question this one will turn into a series... I definitely have to check out the other pilots now..

should have just introduced new characters, movie was too good to just have all new actors fill the same roles

Zombieland Finds Its Emma Stone Replacement
.... what?!

First, I had not heard of this before. Worse I learn of it via announcement of a sacrilege of re-casting the same characters from the movie. As if you could replace the cute and adorable Emma Stone.

wow.. didnt realized the chick in the movie was Emma Stone
i'm used to her looking like:

Why would you think it's a "remake?" It's just a continuation spin-off TV series with the same characters in the same fictional zombie apocalypse.

yup, and theyre doing it because they can make a lot more money if its a continuous money flowing event every year.

I think its going to be a great show... so who cares if its in series form over movie? I don't think theres much difference anymore.

so far, im pretty blown away at the quality of these pilots. they are well done, and you can tell the people involved are having fun and really trying their best. amazon is going to be the new hbo! :)

That's the one in the school, right? I think that falls to some of the same problems as Zombieland. The script tries too hard and keeps jokes running way too long. It's not that the premise of that school one was bad, but the execution wasn't great. For example, when the one guy is dressing up as a gangster to get some coke, that whole shtick didn't work well because there was no element of surprise. I think the whole scene would have worked better if they didn't show his attire (or cut the whole house portion entirely), and the first thing you experienced was him attempting to talk to the gang members... then the camera shows him in his tries-too-hard gangsta attire. There wasn't really any comedic tension in the scene either.

Fair criticism. I thought those who can't was surprisingly good, in that I finished it and if there was a second I Just might have clicked it.

Zombieland was a waste of time.

These whole amazon pilot things are still a bit baffling to me, though.

I thought it was ok except for the guy playing Tallahassee who probably should find a line of work other than acting.
