The BENQ XL2411T Crimson Fix

Some people have reported a crimson tint with BENQ LightBoost!
This fix greatly improves BENQ XL2411T colors during LightBoost usage.
You cancel out the crimson tint via nVidia Control Panel, by doing the following:

Via Monitor Menus
Monitor's Contrast Setting = 65 .... (If using nVidia Gamma 1.10)

Via nVidia Control Panel - "Adjust Desktop Color Settings"
Adjust them individually, R, G, B.
---
R Contrast = 30%
G Contrast = 45%
B Contrast = 30%
---
R Brightness = 10%
G Brightness = 40%
B Brightness = 10%
---
R,G,B Gamma = 1.10

Make sure to readjust Monitor OSD contrast everytime you change Gamma. nVidia Gamma 1.10 worked best with a monitor OSD Contrast of 65.
With these settings, I can see the difference between RGB(0,0,0) and RGB(1,1,1), without a wrongly tinted color in backgrounds or in dim colors.

As my LightBoost HOWTO is getting more and more media coverage (including PC Games Hardware Magazine in Germany), I've been inundated with a bunch of emails. Some that compared pairs. (I have heard from someone who has tested ASUS VG278H and VG278HE side by side, and I own both a ASUS VG278H and BENQ XL2411T)
So far, I've received a report of additional information:

ASUS VG278H -- Get this if you need LightBoost in 27" rather than 24"
ASUS VG278HE -- much worse LightBoost than VG278H (non "E")
BENQ XL2411T -- The first 1ms panel. Vastly superior LightBoost. No visible 3D crosstalk either!
BENQ XL2420T -- not as good as XL2411T
ViewSonic V3D245 -- It works! 3DVision2 compatible with LightBoost apparently, not well-advertised.
Acer HN274H -- Poor crosstalk during 3D, also affects LightBoost 2D (double-image effect)

Zero Motion Blur Winner: BENQ XL2411T
(with the Crimson Fix)

I own both a BENQ XL2411T (1ms panel) and an ASUS VG278H, and I can say the current winner is the BENQ XL2411T if you don't mind the smaller size. The 1ms technology apparently looks real in PixPerAn tests (see photo above) and is actually visibly (to my eyes) superior to 2ms panels. There is no noticeable 3D crosstalk on the BENQ XL2411T, it's the best stereoscopic 3D monitor I have ever seen too. And that also helps 2D LightBoost too because the pixels are ~99.5% finished refreshed between refreshes, virtually zero remnant pixel persistence when hidden by the LightBoost strobes. In addition with the low BENQ input lag, it is the closest thing to CRT that LCD has ever become.
