Client using mobile designs may very much mean mobile packages.
No, it just means that what's today's "APUs" in DIY will cover all of the AM5 product range eventually. No change in packages needed.

What you are talking about is essentially different markets.

Not so long ago, ARL was to be 30-40% in ST over RPL, which may be roughly on par in ST with Zen 4.
Zen 5 was to be 10-15% faster over Zen 4.
In other words, ARL 20-25% faster than Zen 5, beating Zen 5 X3D also.

Fast forward and now, ARL ~= Zen 5

I take it you have adroc on ignore, cos what you just wrote is the EXACT opposite of what he's been preaching for months now...

Xino is reliable. He leaked Zen4 front-end spec way before release. This time he said "sample out" which means it's very likely refering QS(Qualified sample), and very closed to retail.

ES was already out for quite a while, which is not worth mentioning or being a private thing.

What does AMD do so well that allows them to keep leaks from happening? Not even one disgruntled low paid employee ratting them out???? Does their NDA talk about a life sentence or something???

Maybe they learned a thing or two from Zen 4's leaky ship.

Will Strix Point be announced alongside Zen 5 Desktop at Combustex 2024?
No, it's that MS AI PC(tm) event iirc.

Firmware locks.
Don't need more speed than refclk for board validation, after all!

If you thought RDNA3 boards were locked down toys, wait till you see AMD RVPs.
Firmware signing keys for days!
