I've just ordered my final parts except for the CPU. And I did a change of motherboard in the end as it was only $60 more than the B650E I've had my eyes on, and since I plan to keep it for a long time, I decided to pay the the difference for extra expandability.

So the parts will be:
Fractal North white mesh
Be quiet! Pure power 12 850w ATX 3.0
ASRock X670E Pro RS
32GB G.Skill Trident Z5 neo 6000 CL30
WD Black SN850X 1TB
DeepCool AK620
Powercolor RX6800 XT Red Devil
7800X3D

Carry over from old:
Soundblaster AE-7
MX300 2TB sata SSD

You aren't worried if something doesn't work, you would be out of the return window? Gonna deal with the RMA pain?
Nope, in Denmark and the rest of EU you have two years where the seller of the product will have to handle it if it does not work. So the process will be the same now or in a couple of weeks. The things I ordered are currently not in stock, so I will probably first receive them in two weeks.

Core SP values of my 7950X3D.

View attachment 77564

V-Cache CCD0 average is 99
Regular CCD1 average is 121

PBO doesn't work to increase FMax on the 3D cache CCD. Been using ECLK of 102.5. CCD0 can now boost to ~5380MHz very rarely. It usually boosts to 5177MHz. CCD1 boosts to just under 5.9GHz.
Thanks for sharing.

This my current ranking:

My 3 7950x3d are finally shipped, should have them next week :)

If anyone else have SP values for 7950x3d please share :beercheers:

My motherboard and CPU and memory and HSF are here ! I will have to use a 3080TI for the meantime, as the 4090 is delayed until tomorrow.

Got the thermalright retention bracket on the off chance it helps in any way. I figure it most likely won't hurt anything at worst.

So far I haven't gotten any higher FCLK or RAM speed, still stuck at 2067/6200, but I didn't have to increase a bunch of the voltages to make it work like on my 7950X (without the bracket). No idea if it's related.

My 7950X could run at 2167MHz FCLK without problem. My new 7950X3D has trouble even at 2100MHz it seems. Running at 2067MHz for now.

Got my last parts in 😊

Is that Gigabyte NVMe the only PCIe 5.0 drive available right now? Outside of that one in Japan that apparently isn't that great anyway? I was hoping to grab one of the Adata drives with the Silicon Motion controller.

OK, 7950X3D + 4090 build completed. Now to power it up, and put some OS'es on it ! And Yes, that is FOUR PCI-E connectors feeding the 12 pin power. With 3 input fans and 3 exhaust fans and 2 CPU fans, I should have enough cooling, right ?? And a AX1200 should easily handle the power of this beast (170+480)

Well, I am stuck on the memory config. My first ASUS bios, and I can't find the EXP setting like ASRock, so installing windows with memory at 4800.

Suggestions ? I have 6400 memory, want to run it at 6000 1.35 v, 1.25 VSOC. All mt attemps cause a safe mode boot, so I have to use default.

And where is that SP number is ASUS bios ? (922 version)

@Markfw I have that same PSU, works great with my 7950X+4090.

XMP setting is called DOCP with Asus if the kit is not EXPO, just load those.

I was in the the BIOS just earlier today, I believe the SP rating showed on the overview page, but don't quote me on that, I know I went past it just adjusting DOCP and timings at least.
